Kothamalli thokku | Coriander Thokku | Coriander Pickle Recipe


   Kothumalli Thokku/Coriander Pickle is tangy thokku goes well with idly, dosa, lemon rice, curd rice and even tastes divine with hot plain rice. This thokku is made when we have use this for long time.  

    Frequently I will do this recipe but I didn't share it for long time. My hubby used to buy some organic vegetables and leaves every time. He bought a bunch of fresh Coriander leaves for this time. It tempts me to do coriander thokku. You can keep this thokku for more than a week in refrigerator.

   You can pack this thokku when you travel. It goes well with lemon rice and idly so you can pack it along with it. Working ladies can made this recipe in weekend, store it and can use it for the entire week. Hope this tangy and spicy thokku recipe will be useful for all of you.

Red Chutney | Spicy Chutney | Kara Chutney


Red Chutney is spicy chutney made with combination of Kashmiri chilli, small onion and tomato.The colour, smell and taste of kashmiri chilli will make this chutney tongue ticking.  It will tempt us to eat again and again.

Thanks to my friend Jaya, I got this recipe from her. When I went her home for a dinner she prepared this chutney. We enjoyed this spicy, tongue tickling chutney there. And I asked the recipe from her and tired it two, three times then only it came out well.

It is the best one when we get bored in doing chutneys. Just add spice to your food sometimes. It will make us interest in eating. Try this recipe for those spicy loves in your family..

Cabbage chutney is something which many are not aware of, Cabbage are mainly used for poriyal and kootu and not so known for chutney .


In fact Cabbage chutney is very delicious when you prepared in right combination can be served for idly and dosa . I use to do a lot cabbage chutney to serve along with idly and dosa  mainly even it so good for chapati also.                                                                    

Usually people ignore this due to raw smell of cabbage but when nicely cooked the raw smell get rid of it and by adding coconut and chilly it will be tasting great .
