Mor Kali | More Kali | Mor Koozh | Buttermilk Porridge


Mor Kali / More Koozh is a tangy and spicy porridge cake made with butter milk and rice flour. It's a traditional and authentic recipe made in Tamilnadu.

Mor kali is quick and easy recipe can be prepared for a light dinner. And also a perfect for light tiffin after school or work. It takes only 10 to 15 minutes to prepare. 

It can be prepared with left over sour buttemilk/ laban and its taste and smell is so awesome. My grandma make this mor kali whenever she have left over sour curd or butter milk. And she cut this into pieces and she gave as a snack to us when we came back after school.

Those who loves butter milk  and have a tangy tooth will love this Mor kali for sure. Try this easy traditional recipe and enjoy a great tiffin with your family.

Pasta Recipe, How to make Pasta , Tomato cheese Pasta | Pasta in Indian style



Pasta is a simple dish and can be done in many combination.This is a simple Tomato Pasta which have some alteration to make it in Indian style .To get out of our regular dish I used to do Pasta.        

      
Before I was not so familiar with  Pasta until my husband used to travel to Italy and get to know about Italian cuisine. He start making Pasta and it was so good.  My kids also love and enjoy a lot whenever he do. Its was very easy and good for breakfast  or even for dinner.        

Its have little spice when we compare to the typical Italian pasta, I have modified according to Indian cuisine by adding some garlic and onion with little spice too.

Try this simple pasta and am sure you will enjoy .It make your stomach comfortable and can fit to all ages.

Easy Sambar Satham | Kids Lentil Rice


The Easiest recipe which frequently i use to do is sambar satham. Because my kid and my hubby likes it all time.

when i little bit lazy to do sambar and poriyal separately, i will go for this all in one (veggies,dal and rice) Sambar Satham. When my kids started eating solid food ( above 6 months age)  i start doing this sambar satham daily.

Every day i changed the veggies so the tastes may vary, my kids enjoyed this. When your kid hates some of veggies, no problem... put that veggies and some liked vegetables together and make the sambar satham, definitely they will eat... Easy and healthy one pot cooking saves energy and time.

Moor Kulambu | Buttermilk Kulambu , how to make Moor Kulambu


Moor Kulambu is an all time favourite in my family. We made this for lunch, if we have more butter milk or curd is there. We not only enjoyed this for lunch, we also enjoyed it, if we have left over kulambu at dinners as side dish for rice upma or idlys. Less time is required in making of this kulambu.

Fried rice is good recipe which is so easy and highly appreciated whenever i do for my friends and family. Before i tasted the fried rice at hotel its contains more oil and stomach was bloated every time... so i hate to try the fried rice..One of our friends bought me fried rice from a Chinese restaurant it so favourable and there is no burden in stomach, it digested easily.. they used pepper as a spice for the rice. now i became a big fan of fried rice ...i tried this fried rice every time it came out good ..

Methi leaves(Venthaiya Keerai) is rich source of iron and vitamins. Methi Roti is my son's favourite he simply enjoy the roti with butter and he always ordered me the day before for next day breakfast.As a family we are a big fan of Methi leaves, My hubby planted the leaves at home, whenever we like to have we just pick it freshly from our small balcony garden. Its very easy to cultivate at home all you need is fenugreek seeds(Vendiyam),Pot and sand that's all.
