Tawa Pulao | Easy And Quick Pulao From Left over Rice | Mumbai Street Food Recipe

Tawa Pulao is a quick treat for those who loves pulao, and it is one of pulao which is the very popular in Mumbai street foods. It is a Spicy, flavourful and mouth watering pulao which can be made easily under 15 minutes. 

When I saw this Tawa Pulao recipe for  the very first time in a cookery show. It tempts me on the day one itself. I have tried so many times with different masalas which is avaiable at hand. But it tastes awesome only with the flavor of Pav bhaji Masala.  So Pav bhaji Masala is the main ingredient for this pulao. 
You can make this masala at home or you can get this masala from all Indian grocery store. Soon I will share this Pav bhaji masala recipe with you.
Try this easy, aromatic and spicy pulao, Hope it will satisfy your carving on pulaos. You can pack this for kids lunch box along with any raitha of your choice. 

How to Make Tawa Pulao Recipe

Ingredients Required


1. Get ready all the ingredients, You can make this in 15 mins. Heat a Tawa if you have iron skillet use it for better results, Add butter in low flame, when it start melting add chopped onions and toss as well as until it gets translucent. Add ginger garlic paste and toss it until the raw smell goes.

2. Add chopped capsicum to it and toll well for a minute, then add chopped tomatoes and toss until it become mushy.

3. Add 2 tsp of Pav Bhaji Masala to it and give a quick stir. when it tossed well , add 1/2 cup water and little salt, allow it to simmer and let them all cooked well. Then add diced potatoes. coriander leaves and cooked peas in to it.

 4. Mix all the ingredients well , and allow it to cook for 5 mins until it absorbs all masala. Then add required salt,coriander leaves and cooked rice in masala, toss it well until it blend well with the prepared masala. Now, Tawa Pulao is ready to serve!

Serve Hot ... with any raitha of your choice.
