Aloo Paratha is quite simple and popular paratha. The paratha is made with whole grain flour and stuffed potato will give a right nutition for a healthy breakfast or a brunch.  

Aloo paratha is all time favourite in my family and we people will die for that one. When I tried for the first time, I searched  for the actual recipe and i have done as it is. But my kids wont like that much. So i decided to try in different style by adding some more masalas, onion, ginger garlic paste etc..

Erissery Recipe | Mathanga Vanpayar Erissery | Parangikai Karamani Kootu | Kerala Pumpkin Erissery

Eriserry is one of the traditional recipe from Kerala. It served as one of the side dish during Onam sadya. It is made with combination of pumpkin and black eyed beans, cooked and then added to the coconut paste. Its can also be done with Yam, Raw banana instead of using pumpkin. 

When I tasted this erissery for very first time in a Restaurant  but i couldn't find out the name of this recipe. Then I searched some cookbooks and in Internet but I couldn't find the name of it. After that I asked about this recipe from one of my friend from Kerala. She told its Vanpayar Erissery. 

Then I find out actual recipe and tried it out, It came good for the first time. Now I do often at home and my kids also love this Kerala type kootu. Hope you too love this recipe.
