Jeera Pulao is nice flavour able, comforting and delicious pulao. It can be prepared with few ingredients , can be accompanied with any Spicy side dishes and simple to make.
Method
1. Wash and soak basmati rice for 20 mins. Drain and keep it aside.
2. Heat 2 tbsp of butter in a cooker, add clove, cinnamon,star anise and bay leaf and saute for a minute. Then add whole pepper, cumin seeds.
3. When cumin little sputters, add the drained rice and saute for a few seconds. Then add 2 cups of water to it and close the lid and put whistle. Cook in a medium flame for 1 whistle.
4. Fluff with fork and mix well. Serve Hot with any gravy like Chana Masala or Rajma masala
