Green Pulao | Mint Coriander Peas Pulao | Pudina Kothumalli Peas Pulao



Green Pulao is delicious and healthy pulao. This can be made from the Green ingredients Pudina/Mint, Coriander, and Peas so we named it Green Pulao. It requires very less time to make and it is a different pulao... hope you never heard this. So surprise your family by doing this nice flavoured pulao. And leave your comments back... Method


1. Soak basmati rice for 1/2 hour.

2. Sauté the ingredients except coconut given in the Saute and Grind column Ginger,Garlic,Green Chilli, Coriander leaves, Mint/pudina leaves. Grind this sauted masalas along with coconut into a paste.

3. Slice the onion into big slices.

4. Heat 1 Tblsp oil/Ghee in a cooker, add ingredients given in To Temper column the cinnamon stick,cloves,bayleaf and sliced onion one bye one and saute until onion is changed little brown.

5. Add the ground paste and saute until raw smell goes..

6. Add the Green peas into it and saute well.

7. At last add required water(2 Cups) and rice and pressure cook for 1 whistle in medium flame.

8. Remove it from cooker add lemon juice at last and mix well. Serve hot with onion raitha or papads.
