Panner Butter masala is great recipe which it can be accompanied with rotis,parathas,pulao and even with appam too.. Today i post easy way of making panner butte masala without using tomato paste tins.. Try this and comments me back..

Cooking time : 30 to 45 min
Method:
1.Take the frozen
paneer and put them in warm water for ½ hour.
2.Heat oil in a pan and
saute onions until translucent. Remove from heat and let it cool. Grind it to a
fine paste.
3. Heat a tbsp of
butter and add bay leaf, cinnamon stick and cardamom. Add ground onion paste.
4 Add ginger garlic
paste and saute for 3 minutes over medium heat.
5.Add chili powder,
coriander powder, garam masala, salt and turmeric powder. Stir everything
together and let it cook for 5 minutes.
6.Grind the tomato into
paste. Add the ground paste.(or Add half of the tomato paste mix well. Add the
rest and, check for sour taste and add more.)
7. Cook this mixture
until the raw smell of the spice and tomato disappears.
8.In between take the
paneer out of water, squeeze the water. Fry the paneer in the oil.
9. add the cream to the
gravy and a cup of water bring into
boil.Adjust water according to taste
10.Add fried paneer and
kasturi methi and serve hot.
Note: If u r using the
tomato paste use it carefully according to sour taste add half and check for
sour taste. I never use canned fresh tomato itself tastes good. Canned tomato
gives nice red colour. When using frozen paneer ,Squeeze the water completely
otherwise it splutters while frying.
