No of serving : 2 to 3

Cooking time : 30 to 45 min

Method:

1.Take the frozen paneer and put them in warm water for ½ hour.

2.Heat oil in a pan and saute onions until translucent. Remove from heat and let it cool. Grind it to a fine paste.

3. Heat a tbsp of butter and add bay leaf, cinnamon stick and cardamom. Add ground onion paste.

4 Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 3 minutes over medium heat.

5.Add chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt and turmeric powder. Stir everything together and let it cook for 5 minutes.

6.Grind the tomato into paste. Add the ground paste.(or Add half of the tomato paste mix well. Add the rest and, check for sour taste and add more.)

7. Cook this mixture until the raw smell of the spice and tomato disappears.

8.In between take the paneer out of water, squeeze the water. Fry the paneer in the oil.

9. add the cream to the gravy and  a cup of water bring into boil.Adjust water according to taste

10.Add fried paneer and kasturi methi and serve hot.

Note: If u r using the tomato paste use it carefully according to sour taste add half and check for sour taste. I never use canned fresh tomato itself tastes good. Canned tomato gives nice red colour. When using frozen paneer ,Squeeze the water completely otherwise it splutters while frying.
